Practice, does not mean perfect

Hello there readers, Have you ever heard the saying “Practice makes perfect” Well, I am here to tell you this is NOT written correctly. It is actually that practicing something can make it more permanent. Regardless of whether its perfect…which it never will be, we will build habits or maybe skills by doing them often. It’s important for us to make sure the practice we are doing is in our benefit, right? Practicing poor habits or bad decisions can lead to many things that don’t make us better people. It takes courage and trust in yourself to step out and practice something that challenges you to be better. Something I know a lot about is gymnastics. The reason coaches want gymnasts to learn body shaping skills and correct form from the very beginning is Easy.  Hello there readers,  Hope this post finds you all well, and if it doesn't than I hope you find some encouragement!  Summer has begun and so has some "new beginnings" for me.  I took a job...yup, stepped out of my safety net and I am moving forward with IT.  Those of you who have been following along from the beginning know about how we each have our IT in life.  Actually we have many of them.  I think each season in our lives we move through something.  If you think back on your life, I am sure you can think of many ups and downs you have gone through.  The teenage years, young adulthood, relationships, children...the list goes on.  Each time we move through a new season we have different struggles that weave themselves into our daily lives.  Many of those struggles are not ones we particularly invited, right!  But, struggles do build our patience.  They do sharpen us.  They prepare us to handle pressure.  We l...
